The 3^rd regional training course on mangrove ecosystems for the WIO region, follows the successful completion of the 1^st and 2^nd editions of the course in Kenya. While the focus of the 3^rd training course will still be functionality of mangrove ecosystem, it will specifically aim at training a community of practitioners who can design and implement a long-term mangrove management agenda for the benefits of climate change mitigation, community livelihoods, and biodiversity conservation.
